The aims of this study were:
- To produce an exemplary knowledge basis on rural livelihood in highland areas of Eritrea (analysis of status).
- To produce data that can serve as a basis for future monitoring (detecting dynamics and trends).
- To provide the administration of the Zoba and Subzoba,as well as potential investors, development agencies, and others with recommendations for further actions towards sustainable development.
