Our "Topics" pages examine over-arching themes of importance for our work - like public-private partnerships, for example. We've just revised two of them: Agricultural Extension and Sustainable Intensification. Views on the former differ. (And yes, there are even some people who oppose PPPs!) But the topic of sustainable intensification is definitely more controversial. How should it be defined? How desirable is it? And where? Providing one wants to intensify, how can one do so sustainably? Is that a necessity, or a total contradiction in terms? Our website offers some possible answers, but alternatives abound.
