Technology transfer India-Africa

India-Africa technology transfer was made possible through SFSA’s Seeds2B Africa. We have branded this initiative as the India-Africa Seeds Bridge. A Senegalese distributor ordered $ 34,000 worth of vegetable seeds from an Indian seed company. This is the second year that the distributor ordered and is an example of the potential for South-South partnerships with India and was carried out in alignment and discussion with Indian seed sector representatives. These seeds are sufficient to reach 2,667 farmers on 533 hectares.
