Opening up views on corporate foundations

Foundations take many forms; those funded by companies represent a distinct group. Corporate foundations offer advantages over other types of private sector philanthropy.

A new Syngenta Foundation paper examines this topic in general, and 'agri-philanthropy' in particular. Former Director Marco Ferroni and his co-author ask if corporate foundations offer the best of both worlds. The conclusion is... they can do!  Close alignment of expertise between a company and the related foundation definitely makes sense.
